International Salvage Union statistics for 2016 show an increase in the provision of vital services but a dramatic fall in revenues. Gross revenues for ISU members in 2016 from all activities fell to US$ 380 million. It compares with US$ 717 million in 2015, a drop of 47%. The statistics are for income received in the given year but which may relate to, in some cases, operations from a preceding year.
