The current situation in maritime security is characterized by persistent threats like piracy, which are surging in regions like Southeast Asia, and conflict-related attacks in areas such as the Red Sea and Black Sea. Geopolitical conflicts and a rise in piracy and armed robbery are disrupting shipping corridors, impacting global supply chains and thus require improved security strategies. In our upcoming webinar, Neil Roberts, Head of Marine and Aviation at Lloyd’s Market Association and Chair of IUMI’s Policy Forum, will provide an overview on current maritime security dynamics, including the Red Sea and Baltic Sea.
This will be followed with a first-hand account of the Eternity C crew rescue offered by Greg O’Farrell, Associate Director Commercial, Risk Analytics at Ambrey Analytics, an IUMI Professional Partner.
Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A that follows the presentations. If you have any comments or queries prior to the session, please send them to education@iumi.com.
