With the war in Ukraine raging for nearly a year, it has had a major impact across all specialty lines insurance markets. Since our first briefing with PCS/Verisk in May 2022, information on losses have further evolved to assemble a view on the potential industry-wide insured losses for the event. PCS believes that aggregate industry-wide insured losses could exceed approximately US$ 26 billion based on market intelligence available to date.
