On day 1 of the IMO Maritime Safety Committee's 98th session, Donald Harrell, Head of International Insurance & Global Head of Marine at Aspen Insurance and Astrid Seltmann, Analyst/Actuary of The Nordic Association of Marine Insurers (Cefor), both leading members of IUMI's Facts & Figures Committee, gave a presentation to the IMO delegates on relevant industry issues. Donald updated the audience on IUMI’s work and objectives and those of the Facts and Figures Committee specifically, followed by Astrid’s in-depth analysis of vessel values, fleet and casualty trends for offshore energy and hull.
