Liquid bulk cargoes are commodities which are transported in bulk rather than packaged in smaller individual units. They encompass a broad range of goods from chemicals to energy and food grade liquids and beverages. Liquid bulk cargoes make up a significant portion of cargoes moved along global supply chains. Since this cargo type is fluid, it necessitates special handling and infrastructure.
In this webinar Jorge Díaz, Head of Business Development and Pedro Nunes, Claims Handler at Marlin Blue, provide an overview of key aspects related to the packaging, handling and storage of liquid bulk cargoes. They also discuss the intricacies of paper losses, how to avoid them if possible, and how to minimise their impact when they happen.
