Paris MoU on Port State Control

03 Novemer 2016

The Paris MoU aims to eliminate the operation of sub-standard ships through a harmonized system of port State control. Annually more than 18,000 inspections take place on board foreign ships in the Paris MoU ports, ensuring that these ships meet international safety, security and environmental standards, and that crew members have adequate living and working conditions. In this webinar Carien Droppers, Deputy Secretary General at Paris MoU, provided an overview of Paris MoU's operations and further explained how inspection data and information can be accessed.

The recording and slides are available upon request. Please contact the IUMI Secretariat (info@iumi.com).
