In this webinar, Astrid Seltmann, Analyst/Actuary at the Nordic Association of Marine Insurers (Cefor), provides an in-depth analysis of vessel casualty trends in general and fires in particular in the context of world fleet trends at year-end 2019. The trends are derived from data compiled by Cefor in the Nordic Marine Insurance Statistics database (NoMIS) since 1995.
In 2020, Cefor’s Statistics Forum analysed several special issues in addition to the general ocean and coastal hull casualty trends. Astrid Seltmann shares the latest insights with the audience, with particular focus on the recent increase in fires on container vessels:
