We are delighted to announce that Mubeen Naaz from MS Amlin in Dubai has been awarded the partial bursary for the World Maritime University’s (WMU) postgraduate diploma in Marine Insurance Law & Practice for 2024.

Successful candidates of the IUMI cargo and hull exams are invited to apply for two partial bursaries for the WMU postgrad programme which is taught remotely and consists of five modules. As part of IUMI’s MOU with the WMU, IUMI awards the partial bursaries to a maximum of two candidates annually. This year the successful applicant, Mubeen Naaz, not only passed the IUMI cargo exam but she also convinced the Education Forum to award her the bursary by compellingly outlining her strong motivation for studying this prestigious academic programme.

A further incentive for students who wish to enrol for the WMU programme is the CII accreditation which lends additional credibility to this high-profile diploma.
